In the secret place, every revelation becomes a foundation for deeper understanding and growth.
Jesus is the LIFE of Our Being
In Acts, Paul introduces the "Unknown God" to Athenian philosophers, declaring that the Creator is close to everyone: "in Him we live and move and have our being." He emphasizes that all humanity is God's offspring, designed in His image, sustained by His life, and connected by His love.
Jesus Our Image
Genesis 1:26 reveals humanity's creation in God's image, reflecting His eternal love. The Triune God—Father, Son, and Spirit—planned to include humanity in their fellowship before creation. Despite humanity's fall, our value remained. Jesus' incarnation, uniting divinity and humanity, was always part of God's plan, showcasing His eternal commitment to us.
The Lie of Sin
Truth is embodied in Jesus, revealing the truth about God and us. Sin's lie began in Eden, making Adam and Eve believe they were separate from God, leading to doubt and self-authorship. This lie fractured our relationship with God. Jesus came to expose it, restore our identity, and reunite us with God.
Jesus Our Truth
In Genesis 3, Adam and Eve sensed God's voice, beckoning them into fellowship. Sin distorted Adam's view, seeing God as a judge rather than a Father, leading to separation. Through Jesus, God's plan was to reconcile humanity, restoring our original design and union with the Trinity, defeating sin and death.
Jesus Our Victor!
Before creation, God planned to counteract sin with His eternal love through the incarnation, uniting divinity and humanity in Jesus. Experiencing human life and its sufferings, Jesus achieved victory over sin and death through unwavering faith and obedience. His life, death, and resurrection restored our fellowship with God, enabling us to overcome sin through His power.
Jesus Our Example
Jesus invites us to abide in Him, returning to our original design and victory over every enemy. We participate in His crucifixion, resurrection, and exaltation. Paul says, "one died for all, therefore all died," uniting humanity in Jesus' death and resurrection. The gospel proclaims our union with Jesus, making His victory ours. This reveals God's unwavering love and plan to reconcile and elevate humanity into eternal fellowship with Him. We are one with God.
